SAP Basis Administrator
The Sap Basis Administrator performs as the highest level designated technical expert for SAP Basis activities within The Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech). The position provides expert level technical and analytical expertise for both technical and business professionals across WaTech, and provides support to, and maintains, the mission-critical Human Resources Management System (HRMS) application. This position also provides expert consultation, guidance and direction for large-scale projects or statewide systems that often integrate new technology and carry out organization-wide information technology functions, or impact other institutions or agencies.
Requires a Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a closely related field and two years of experience as an SAP Consultant, SAP Base Administrator or a related technical role. In the alternative, the Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a closely related technical field, and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as an SAP Consultant, SAP Base Administrator or a related technical role.
Experience must include:
- Working with, managing, and troubleshooting integrated enterprise systems, including Enterprise Content Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning;
- Performing SAP Basis Administration functions, utilizing Oracle DB, SAP Netweaver, SCC, and SAP Customer Relationship Management;
- Utilizing Microsoft Server Operating System in an Active Directory domain utilizing Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or newer;
- Utilizing IP Routing, IP Management, and Name Resolution technologies such as DHCP, DNS, and WINS; and
- Working with TCP/IP, routing and WAN technologies.
