Diversity, Outreach, and Employment Resources Coordinator (DOER) Administrative Services Department – Human Resources Office The Borough of Chambersburg is looking for a highly motivated and engaging personality to be the organizational ambassador to our diverse and growing community; and our workforce.

Represent Borough government and run public outreach programs throughout our community - Deliver the message of citizen engagement to new and different demographics - Inspire today’s youth to become tomorrow’s community leaders and employees - Develop and manage innovative programs, camps, classes, and seminars - Recruit and retain the workforce of tomorrow to join our municipal team - Work with each department & utility of the Borough, from Police to Sewer, to find ways to develop the workforce, engage the community, and support diversity - You need to be an outstanding personality, a leader, and a communicator - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field; plus demonstrated experience as a recruiter and a motivational speaker - You need to know social media, traditional media, and public relations.
Hire in rate: $26.42 per hour; plus outstanding municipal benefits Chambersburg Borough jobs require residency of 15 air miles from Borough Hall within one year of hire date; and, one must remain within residency area while employed. Be a part of our community team.
