Upstate Medical University is looking for a Breast Ultrasound Technologist to join their dynamic team of expert professionals.

The Breast Ultrasound Technologist will perform routine diagnostic breast ultrasound imaging. Assists with interventional breast procedures at the direction of the interpreting Radiologist. Participates in training and direction of other employees/students with knowledge of departmental protocols and responsibilities. Identifies and addresses individual patient requirements relative to their emotional, physical or age-related needs pertaining to their imaging. Willing to perform other necessary duties as requested.

RDMS certified in Abdomen and OB/GYN with one year of experience required. Current CPR-BLS certification required by time of appointment. Candidates with 1 year or more ultrasound sonographer experience will be considered for appointment to a higher level at a commensurate salary. B.S degree and experience in breast ultrasound and breast ultrasound biopsy procedures preferred.
