Planner -Grant writer
The Skokomish Indian Tribe is seeking to hire Planner-Grant write. Under the Supervision of the CDO Manager, the Planner -Grant writer is responsible for maintaining and updating Tribal planning documents, researching and preparing reports, acts as lead emergency planning liaison and conducts research, preparation and submits grant applications in coordination with the contracted Grant Writer and adopted Grant Development Policies. The Planner/Grant writer is a professional planning position and may be assigned to staff major community development initiatives such as feasibility studies, preparation and updating community development planning documents, community assessments and comprehensive planning projects. Tribal liaison for Tribal emergency planning to include research, preparation of reports, implementation and coordination with staff and community. Researches, prepares and submits federal, state and private grant opportunities in coordination with contracted Grant Writer, Administration and Department Directors pursuant to Grant Development Policies. Bachelor’s Degree with a major study in public administration, education, or planning; will substitute a Bachelor’s Degree with proven ten (10) years’ experience and knowledge as a planner.
