Habitat Technician IV
The Skokomish Indian Tribe is seeking to hire Habitat Technician IV. The incumbent will
support the biologist with restoration and management projects. Primarily, the individual will be
responsible for the Tribe’s Timber Fish and Wildlife (TFW) work, which involves reviewing
forest practice applications & water type modifications. The habitat technician will also be
responsible for helping with management of invasive species and monitoring of the Skokomish
Estuary Restoration Project as well as assist other tribal biologists within the Tribe’s Natural
Resources Department as needed. A minimum of an Associate’s degree and two years of
pertinent work experience; A bachelor’s degree will substitute for the two years’ experience.
Familiarity with GIS technology, PNW native and invasive plants, and Washington DNR Forest
