Habitat Technician IV
The Skokomish Tribe is seeking to hire Habitat Technician IV. The habitat technician will support the habitat biologist with many habitat related issues. Primarily, the individual will be responsible for helping to implement the monitoring of the Skokomish Estuary Restoration Project, which is part of the Puget Sound Partnership’s Action Agenda (50%). The additional 50% of the time the technician will be responsible for the Tribe’s Forest and Fish Report work. $35K-$45K closes 09/26/2018. Associate’s Degree in Natural Resources or related field and two years of pertinent work experience, or A Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resources will substitute for the two years’ experience. Familiarity with the Puget Sound Partnership Action Agenda, Experience with water quality work, GIS, GPS, ability to build and populate databases, and calibrate sensitive scientific equipment.
