The Skokomish Indian Tribe is seeking to hire a Contract Program Developer. This contractual position is under the direct supervision of the Behavioral Health Manager. The Program Developer will conduct community research through a comprehensive interview process to compile data, culminating in the development of a health centered culturally appropriate calendar of events. The calendar will be presented to Tribal Council and upon approval to be utilized as a health centered prevention curriculum for youth and families. Conducts recorded interviews with Skokomish elders and Skokomish tribal community. Transcribes information when necessary for review. Compiles relevant data reports. Participates in staff meetings and community events, as directed. Assists with organizing community events, trainings, etc. Bachelor degree preferred in Native Studies or research and development Enrolled Skokomish Tribal Member, with in-depth knowledge of Skokomish community and culture is preferred.
