The School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS) at Seton Hall University invites applications for a twelve-month, faculty position at the Instructor or Assistant Professor rank in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Department beginning May 1, 2024. The School of Health and Medical Sciences at Seton Hall University has a significant national presence in health sciences education. The school has assumed a leadership role in offering high quality, innovative programs at the undergraduate, master's and doctoral levels with a longstanding commitment to interprofessional education (IPE). The School of Health and Medical Sciences offers opportunities for collaborative research, teaching, and grantsmanship across several disciplines.


Duties and Responsibilities:


The incumbent will be required to teach cadaver-based anatomy to physical therapy, physician assistant and athletic training students and teach pharmacology and physiology in the DPT program. Candidates will be expected to perform student advisement, service and scholarship as a core faculty member in the DPT program.


Required Qualifications:


Clinical Doctorate or a terminal doctoral degree is required. Three years of teaching experience in gross anatomy for health profession and the appropriate background and demonstrated experience teaching human physiology and pharmacology. In addition to teaching, the incumbent will be expected to provide student advisement and mentorship, engage in scholarship, and serve on committees at the program, department, school or university level.

FA01 - Faculty
