NWMH provides challenging opportunities for dependable people supporting individuals with disabilities in residential settings. Assist consumers with all activities of daily living. Ability to lift 100 lbs. Must have Oregon or Washington Driver License and meet insurance requirements. Must be at least 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check. No experience required. Paid training provided.

Start Pay: $12.50/hr. Hiring & retention bonus of $400.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Deliver training, support, and assistance to consumers in the areas of personal care, recreation and leisure, daily living skills, social skills, health needs, personal preferences, exercising of individual rights, community integration, and behavior management.
•Participate in the design, implementation and monitoring of the consumers’ individualized support plan.
•Accurately administer prescribed medications to consumers as ordered by physicians.
•Accurately complete required documentation including but not limited to program data, incident reports, daily log, progress notes, and health records.
•Ensure consumers’ health and safety at all times including but not limited to prevention of abuse as directed by policy #3.0.1, perform CPR, perform Standard First Aid, perform Heimlich procedure and evacuate consumers in case of a fire.
•Prepare consumers’ meals following published menus.
