JOB SUMMARY
Division Lead for maintaining, tracking, researching, and reporting Equipment Rental and Revolving
data and providing customer service to users. Provides administrative support for road operations,
fleet services, and ER&R divisions.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Responsible for maintaining inventory of vehicles and equipment, monitoring costs, fuel usage data,
odometer readings and contracts, permitting and licensing vehicles and equipment. Researches,
analyzes, and prepares reports and recommendations aimed at improving services. Performs cost
accounting utilizing CAMS and prepares reports. Assists fleet central stores staff with inventory and
research. Serves as FEMA lead and coordinates with other divisions. Assists with vehicle and
equipment budgeting, establishing annual rates, repairs and maintenance documentation, usage
records, research, bid specifications and awards. Responsible for new employee orientation, countywide
annual hearing tests, scheduling training, conferences & travel, maintaining accident/injury
reports, and tracking leave usage including FMLA. Assist with review and implementation of collective
bargaining agreements. Administrative duties include: taking meeting minutes, proofreading,
composing letters, filing, creating and managing excel spreadsheets, setting up for meetings and
training and assisting with investigations and documentation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Any equivalent combination of education and experience which
provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job)
Associate of Arts degree and three years of Public Works experience preferably in road operations,
ER&R, administration, and personnel OR five years of strong administrative experience preferably in
road operations, ER&R, administration, and personnel. Possess valid WA State Drivers License,
ability to obtain NIMS certification within one year. Strong writing and organizational skills required.
