Responsibilities:
The Candidate will assist the Innovative Small Farmers' Outreach Program (ISFOP) Leader with all activities for accomplishing the Program Goal and Objectives. These include, and not limited ta making farm visits and providing research-based information, write educational materials, grant proposals, and reports. Organize/conduct ISFOP Workshops. Provide assistance to Urban Agriculture and Community Gardens. Work primarily in Jackson and Platte Counties. He/She should reside In Jackson County, Missouri.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or in closely related field, and 3 years of farming experience are required. A Master"s degree in Agriculture, and 3 years of fanning experience are desired. Spanish language skill would be a plus.
