Substation Engineering Supervisor

 

Grays Harbor Public Utility District is seeking a full-time Substation Engineering Supervisor to plan, oversee, and advise in the administration of substation and automation (SCADA), design engineering and planning functions.  Duties and tasks include project planning, budgeting and prioritizing; employee performance management; work coordination with other departments; establishing and managing contracts for materials, equipment, and professional services; and performing and reviewing electrical designs and project planning, all in support of the construction, operation and maintenance of the District’s substation and automation activities. 

 

Eight years experience working in the electrical power field and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of related education and experience is required.  Other desired qualifications include professional engineering licensure, relevant engineering experience, including experience with automated meter reading systems and revenue metering, and supervisory experience and training.
