This position reports to the Managing Director of the Longhouse Education and Cultural Center and provides administrative support for the Longhouse and the Office of the Vice President of Tribal Relations, Arts, and Cultures and represents the division as the first point of contact for the public.
As a public service center, the Longhouse promotes indigenous arts and cultures through the administration of the Native Economic Development Arts Program, which includes grant-making, a residency program, a marketing service, and Native art sales and exhibitions.
This is a full-time, overtime-eligible, project position with the Office of Vice President of Tribal Relations, Arts, and Cultures and the Longhouse Education and Cultural Center on the Olympia campus of The Evergreen State College. The project position is grant funded through June 30, 2024 and could be extended depending on continued grant funding.
Salary and Benefits: $2,704 – $3,570 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
