Position Purpose
This position is primarily responsible for and must be able to work independently to conduct record keeping, facilitate grant application processes, develop communication for grant making and fund development, coordinate with staff in Business Services, Advancement, and the Evergreen Foundation for both grant making and grant receiving, update spreadsheets and contact lists, respond to inquiries, manage the House of Welcome calendar, make travel arrangements, and provide support to staff operating the SIAM and Native Creative grant programs.
This is a full-time, overtime-eligible, grant-funded project position with the House of Welcome Cultural Arts Center on the Olympia campus of The Evergreen State College. This position is funded through June 30, 2024
and may be extended depending on continued grant funding.
Salary and Benefits: $3,130 – $4,158 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a
tuition waiver program.
