Parking Guide
(Working title: Parking Ambassador)

Position Purpose 
Patrol and enforce parking regulations from a Parking fleet vehicle or walking patrol, report safety concerns, perform basic and routine maintenance of parking kiosks, and provide exemplary customer service to students, staff, and campus visitors/guests. This position ensures a positive parking experience for customers. Prepare fleet motor pool vehicles for use ensuring their safe and clean operation, including checking in, fueling, and cleaning Motor Pool vans between reservations.

This position reports to the Parking Supervisor 1, and under general supervision, is responsible for enforcement of parking regulations in campus parking lots and on property belonging to the college. The position acts as an ambassador to the college to ensure positive parking experiences from participants and educates customers on parking regulations and policies. The position also ensures the fleet motor pool vehicles are ready for operation by users. The standard work schedule for this position is 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

This is a full-time, overtime eligible position in Conference and Parking Services on the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College.

Salary and Benefits: $3,353 – $4,454 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
