Position Purpose
This position provides leadership and direction to the Financial Aid and Student Employment Offices. The
position is responsible for all policies and processes of the College relating to student financial assistance. To do
this, the incumbent supervises a staff of up to ten and coordinates with the staff of Enrollment Services
(Admissions and Registration and Records) and other offices that impact the Evergreen student experience,
including but not limited to Academic Advising, Student Accounts, Academic Computing, Academic Deans,
International Programs, Geoduck Athletics, and Institutional Research. The position holds responsibility for
regulatory compliance spanning College, State, and Federal laws and regulations. This position reports to the
Chief Enrollment Officer.
This is a full-time, overtime-exempt position on the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College. This
position is an “at-will” appointment, exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules and the Fair Labor
Standards Act overtime requirements.
Salary and Benefits: $6,054 – $7,871 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and
vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a
tuition waiver program.
