Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, assist in managing the comprehensive college-wide financial accounting system, including the operational aspects. This position administers the function of grants and contracts accounting, Foundation accounting, accounts payable, travel, reconciliations, data entry, and state reporting within the Accounting Services area. Assist in administering complex development and compilation of financial and operating reports to provide useful, reliable and timely information for use by college management. This position also serves as the college’s Auditor.
This is a full-time, overtime-exempt position on the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College. This position is an “at-will” appointment, exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules and the Fair Labor Standards Act overtime requirements.
Salary and Benefits: $5,450 - $6,144 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
