Position Purpose
This position is responsible for developing, managing, implementing, and evaluating an annual giving program that raises approximately $500,000+ in unrestricted and restricted gifts to achieve Evergreen’s strategic fundraising goals. Utilizing industry best practices and a data-driven approach, the incumbent executes a strategic comprehensive multi-channel annual giving program that includes direct mail, digital, email, social media, leadership giving, giving day, and crowdfunding communication and solicitation tactics. Such efforts will focus on increasing gift revenue and deepening relationships through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of alumni, donors, students, faculty, staff, and friends on behalf of the College and The Evergreen State College Foundation. As a frontline fundraiser, the position manages a portfolio of donors and is responsible for the continued growth of existing and prospective relationships to secure annual charitable support of gifts for Evergreen of $1,000+.
This is a full-time, overtime exempt position on the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College. This position is an “at-will” appointment, exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules and the Fair Labor Standards Act overtime requirements.
Salary and Benefits: $5,682 – $7,388 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
