Admissions Counselor

Position Purpose
Counsel prospective students and inform educators and parents about the college and its available educational opportunities, and assist in attracting and maintaining a diverse student body consistent with the college’s goals and objectives. Advise students and families in groups or individual sessions, answering correspondence, participating in events/functions sponsored by the Office of Admissions or other college offices, answering phone inquiries, reviewing applications for admission, and representing the Office of Admissions to internal and external audiences.

This search is to fill two full time, overtime-eligible positions in Admissions on the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College. These positions are exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules.

Salary and Benefits: $3,063 – $3,677 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
