Community Lunch is a non-profit that provides hot meals, medical care and survival gear to homeless and low-income in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. The Supply Coordinator is responsible for food storage, equipment and inventory at our two locations, as well as shopping trips and daily pickups in the Community Lunch van at food banks, restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries and other suppliers essential to our meal program. This position plays a key role in weekly meal planning, requiring an accurate knowledge of inventory as well as what needs to be purchased to make each of our four weekly meals a success.
A valid drivers license and great driving record is required, along with a passion to assist those most in need. As a small non-profit, staff works closely and collaboratively to organize volunteers, food and supplies so working well as part of a team is essential to this position.
$16/hour with paid time off & stipend towards health insurance.
