Strategic Project Business Manager
Manager, Strategic Project Business, Carnival Corporation (Miami, FL)
Develop & test hypotheses, to design & conduct complex analyses with large data sets, to effectively balance multiple priorities, to communicate effectively & to work well with a wide range of internal clients, from front-line personnel to senior executives. Support strategic, operational &/or tech-driven corporate initiatives, both within single business units or functions & across multiple business units or functions. Manage project execution via wide range of analytical techniques including interviews, data collection & manipulation, hypothesis generation & testing, analytical design, segmentation analysis, complex analytical models, regression analysis & others. Lead small, dynamic project teams comprised of other Strategic Projects team members & personnel from multiple business units. Execute final, operational, technological & process-based analyses to support project work. Engage with mid & senior level managers of internal & 3rd party companies. Liaison with operating companies & lead strategic projects in China & other Asia Pacific countries. Master's degree, or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or related field. 2 years experience in job offered or in management consulting or investment banking or industry.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access, & a track record of framing, conceptualizing, analyzing & solving complex business problems in fast-paced environments. Some travel, including international 10-15%.
