Position located in Omaha, Nebraska. Under the general direction of appropriate Laboratory Director, the Research Laboratory Project Manager performs work of considerable difficulty in various phases of research studies being performed in the areas of cochlear implants, including project management, data management, management of software tools, experimental design and implementation, management of informed consent and other IRB protocols, and the preparation of manuscripts, presentations and grant applications. Provides technical oversight, training and supervision of research assistants at various levels. Must be fully competent to work in all phases of these areas. Master's degree in Psychology, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field, required. Five years of experience in laboratory based behavioral research with adults and children and experience in psychophysical experiments with cochlear implant patient involving direct stimulation of the implanted device required.
