The Association of Washington Cities (AWC) is a private, non-profit, non-partisan organization, which provides a wide array of legislative, training, and other services to all cities and towns in the state of Washington. The Risk Management Service Agency (RMSA) is a local government property and liability risk pool comprised of member cities and towns, sponsored and managed by AWC. AWC is recruiting for the position of Loss Prevention Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to manage the loss prevention efforts for the contracted RMSA program for the organization. Regular travel to members throughout the state will be a primary duty. The successful candidate will have strong written and spoken communications skills and extensive working knowledge of loss control standards and industry best practices. Three to five years experience in loss prevention or risk management including face-to-face contact and field inspections. ARM, CLCS, or CSP designation desired. Associate’s degree in business or public administration, insurance, risk management, loss prevention, or related field preferred; experience may be substituted year-to-year for academic achievement.
