The Association of Washington Cities (AWC) is a private, non-profit, non-partisan organization, which provides a wide array of legislative, training, and other services to all cities and towns in the state of Washington. AWC is recruiting for the position of Government Relations Advocate with the primary responsibility for law and justice, personnel, labor relations, open government and pension issues.
The advocate/lobbyist advances city government interests with state and local government elected and appointed officials, and influences the development of laws, policies, budgets, and regulations for state, and local programs that affect cities.
